[Building Sakai] Assignment module question

In the Assignment module, on the "grade" section the lecturer is given the option to download either all the material uploaded by the students, or only a selection of it - such as the grades. But even if one wants only the grades.csv file, it still produces a .zip file with folders for each student, each folder containing only a "timestamp" file. 

Is there a way to prevent this? To make the module only include those folders when it has something to put in them?
