[Building Sakai] Preferences problem

Dear Sakai community

We are in the process of upgrading to Sakai 2.9.1 and have problems with the number of tabs. Our new stylesheet will cause the logout button to be hidden with too many site tabs.
We could change the default in Preferences, but do not know where to find the preferences of users who changed the default.  Is there someone who can assist us? If we know where to find the changed value for tabs in Preferences, we can update it for all users.
