[Building Sakai] Technical upgrades for Saka 2.10 ?

[Sorry, until we officially change the name, I’m still calling this Sakai 2.10 :-) ]

I would like to start accumulating the technical, behind the scenes, upgrades for Sakai 2.10 .  Please email what you know about, preferably with links to Jiras, so I can keep track for the Release notes. Thanks.

I’m thinking of things like Spring Annotations, Hibernate,  and such.
