[Building Sakai] Spring 3

Thanks, Zach. Great to have experienced hands testing.

I was in a hurry on the road last week so I didn't see the test failure. That's obviously not acceptable for merge, so I'll have a look. Advice is welcome (maybe related to the recent Elasticsearch stuff).
