[Building Sakai] Iframe tag in CKEDITOR and other bizarre things...

Ah - I've got this the wrong way around (I was in a course and was working from a well-worn (and seemingly faulty) memory). We had no problem with HTML descriptions being edited via the Home tool, what we had was a problem when the HTML description was edited via Site Info > Edit Site Information.
Sorry for leading you down a blind alley.

Thanks Adam... if you have that patch or you remember exactly the place to touch it will be really helpful!
Diego.

If I remember correctly different type of html filtering is applied to the home tool as is applied to other tools. You will also see that <a href> tags get a target = blank added.
We have harmonised the filtering here at oxford.

Hi to all!
I'm surprised about the different behaviour of CKEditor in diferent places.
In Lesson Builder I can add an iframe (for example the youtube video code for embed it) without problem in the CKEditor as HTML.
But in Home, in the Site Info place, I try to do the same and when saving, it converts the iframe HTML code to plain text...
Someone knows why and how this can be managed. I'd like to put iframe code in all the CKEditor places
In the other hand... In site info a code like this:
<object id='video-d49bd8' classid='clsid:D27CD-11cf-96B8-444553540000' width='640' height='360'><param name='movie' value='http://www.sproutvideo.com/flash/MediaPlayer.swf' /><param name='allowScriptAccess' value='always'><param name='allowFullscreen' value='true'><param name='flashvars' value='id=d491ce6c45c&st=23e2f4205855&type=sd'><!--[if !IE]>--><object type='application/x-shockwave-flash' allowScriptAccess='always' allowFullscreen='true' data='http://www.sproutvideo.com/flash/MediaPlayer.swf' width='640' height='360' flashvars='id=d49bd8b0145c&st=23e2f4616f205855&type=sd'><!--<![endif]--><p>Please install Adobe Flash to watch this video. <a href='http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer/'><img src='http://www.adobe.com/images/shared/download_buttons/get_flash_player.gif' alt='Get Adobe Flash player' /></a></p><!--[if !IE]>--></object><!--<![endif]--></object>
Shows the comments in the screen.... but in lesson builder works fine too!
So... what's the difference between CK in Site Info and CK in Lesson Builder?
Thanks!
