[Building Sakai] sakai2.8 membership error

Hello All,

We plan to use Sakai 2.8 this summer and are testing its features now.
We found that Search feature in Membership tool is not working in IE 8 and
9 on Windows 7. It works fine for FF 20

Steps to replicate the problem:
Membership < type the keyword on "Search" and click the enter on your
keyboard < no result returned --> it does not save the typed keyword if you
click Enter

However,
Membership < type the keyword on "Search" and click the Search button <
results returned successfully.

Please advise us how to resolve this issue.
