[Building Sakai] LTI roles in portfolio sites

Sean,

For my money, the solution provided in

https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/BLTI-145

Is the simpler solution versus some complex kind of role mapping into IMS roles. Ultimately as soon as you move away from Instructor and Learner - LMSs and tools are pretty patchy on interoperability w.r.t roles. The next most widely agreed-to IMS role is Mentor. So jumping through a bunch of hoops to map Sakai roles to not-wrdely-used IMS roles and then building a tool to look for IMS roles does not get you more interoperability - just more work and complexity.
