[Building Sakai] JForum for Sakai 2.9.0

Hello Murthy,

Thanks very much for this update.  We are planning our 2.9.1 upgrade in mid-May, and JForum is an important tool here at UVa.

Has anyone tried using 2.8.1 JForum with 2.9.1, in case we need to move forward while we await the 2.9 JForum?

I missed your email. We will release JForum for Sakai 2.9.x in about a month. We have a internal release in a week and after this I will be working on the release for Sakai 2.9.x

The tag in the sakai svn is not the latest JForum tag. We have moved JForum to our etudes svn. We will be releasing JForum to sakai in few weeks. And it will be available in sakai svn.

Is there upgrade documentation available?  Any 2.8.1 to 2.9 database conversions?  I see the website references the former version (Jforum 2.8.1).

Related question: should we use the 'etudes-util' version 1.0.13 with this Jforum 2.9?
