[Building Sakai] Turnitin MD5 issue

Hi All

I have been struggling with Turnitin for a while now. Looking at the Dev
mailing list replies from below it seems I am not the only one.

We had a Sakai 2.8.2 installation which used TII Open API. In the past we
had to make changes in TII's BaseReviewServiceImpl class to remove
Diacritics (ie: è) from the userId (users with accented characters in their
name) in the queueContent method. Everything worked fine.

Recently started with the Sakai 2.9.1 upgrade, used the same source code
for TII, only difference now is that we integrate with TII's Sakai API. The
same source code changes still applies as for the previous version, but now
we get error responses from TII (see below).

Does anybody know what might cause this issue?
