[Building Sakai] CM table purge?

Hi,

For schools using Sakora CSV to populate the Course Management data, do you
purge the past-term course data? Our Sakora job takes more than 24 hours to
finish now (with about 12k course sections for 3 terms), and I think it may
have to do with more and more data in the CM table which slows down
add/update process. Anyone has any experience with this? We are running 2.8
right now.
