[Building Sakai] Webdav configuration question

hello,

Is there a way to disable/hide the webdav link from the Resources and Dropbox
tools in some xml file?

or, should I change the file ResourcesAction.java from the
course code to hide the link?

I removed the dav folder and war from both the webapps
and components folder of tomcat, but in vain
