In that case, I'd like to revise my answer. I don't mind so long as base functionality still works in the other browsers.

I hope that soon or later it will be supported, but I do not really know how HTML5 support is incorporated to each browser.

To be clear, files upload would work in all browsers, but folder upload only would do in Chrome. It could be set by a property too.
