[Building Sakai] Sakai 2.9.2/JLDAP Issue

Hi, we are making preparations to upgrade to version 2.9.2.  In our test environment, we are having an issue where in Site Info in our sites, the participant list is blank, and it should show LDAP users.  We use JLDAP as our login provider.  We found SAK-23362 which mirrors our issue, except for the fact that our participants never show up, even after refreshing.  We've applied the patch from this JIRA ticket to the JLDAPDirectoryProvider, but that did not correct the problem.  Any thoughts would greatly be appreciated!
