I have always thought that when one deletes a site the id should be written to the logfile (along with the site title). Maybe this already happens?

If you have the site ID its is very easy to get most of it back.

Simply go to the Admin site tool and create a site with the same ID. By adding the members and tools back to the site you will see all the data.

A professor told one of our support staff to delete a site. Then they called back and said they needed the grades from that deleted site. Using Sakai 2.6 is there any trick to accomplish this? (without a time machine)
