[Building Sakai] customize sakai homepage

Good afternoon everybody

I want to customize sakai homepage.
after googling, I found that tutorial:

I tried to modify the portal.css file, but in vain, I still have the same
default homepage, even if I re-deploy sakai & restart tomcat after the
modifications, which means that I certainly have to change an-other file.
