[Building Sakai] sakai installation - tomcat doesn't start

Thank you for looking into this. I am still facing the same issue. Does this
may be the port 8080 issue?

They look ok. The startup seems to be fine but has stopped mid way, Tomcat
hasn't even acknowledged that it has finished. Have you tried again?

That log is incomplete. If that is all you have then something has happened
to prevent the startup from finishing.

 

Perhaps a memory heap issue or the ulimit is too low. What are your
java_opts?

The first place to look is in the Tomcat log. $TOMCAT_HOME/logs/catalina.out

 

Are there any error messages there?

I was trying to install Sakai on CentOS. As soon as Sakai installed, I won't
be able to start the Tomcat. But did not see any errors while starting it.

Can anybody having these kind of issues?
