[Building Sakai] [Lessons] Importing assessment and editing, placeholder stays visible

After importing content from another site, the behavior of Assignments (we use Assignments 2) is as I would expect and as the read me dictates.

There is a placeholder. Clicking edit, and changing the assignment results in the placeholder becoming a real assignment.

However, the same does not happen for quizzes. The placeholder remains as it was, and an active quiz is added below the list of item.

Any idea where I should start to hunt down why it's behaving this way?
