A recruiting agency gave me this information to pass on about a Sakai admin position:

Applications Administrator with strong Oracle and LINUX skills needed for Java-based development position.  This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment at an outstanding liberal arts university with superb benefits. 
 
KEY FUNCTIONS:
•Responsible for the administration, maintenance, operational support, and configuration management of University Sakai CLE applications.
•Works closely with internal and external customers to serve as Sakai expert.
•Monitors and maintains application security.
•Identifies and resolves root causes of issues and provides tier-3 support to internal and external customers.
•Researches trends and methodology to improve the University’s application environments.
 
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Bachelor's degree
• 2-8 years of professional experience
• Knowledge of and experience with higher education applications including but not limited to the following:
-Sakai
-LINUX/UNIX and Windows operating systems
-Oracle 11 database development
•Superior customer service standards and practices.
•Experience working in a Higher Education needed.
 
DESIRED SKILLS:
•Experience working in the Sakai community (open source experience)
• Banner and Banner related applications
• SCCM
•UC4 (job scheduling system)
