[Building Sakai] Messages Settings - Feature Request proposed back in 2010

Hi José,
Looking at that document, some of the proposed functionality has been implemented.  Functionality similar to the "Email Options" piece was implemented via https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/MSGCNTR-708 and will be included in the next release of msgcntr (which is 3.1.0 - msgcntr 3.0.0 is included in the sakai 2.9.0 release).  FYI there are two new features related to settings included in the msgcntr 3.0.0/sakai 2.9.0 release:
*  New permissions to allow finer-grained control over who may send to generic recipient groups (ie "All Participants", etc) - https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/MSGCNTR-401
* Ability to hide Groups from specified roles - https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/MSGCNTR-438
