[Building Sakai] Why do we still have the "mercury" site in Sakai's trunk

With lots of beer and tall fruity drinks ...

I can certainly live without Mercury at this point.  I did attempt to 
write my own portal at one point, using Mercury as a starting point.  It 
was a decent way to learn the technology, but things have moved on.  +1 
for removing it.
