[Building Sakai] Sakai 2.9.0-b02 is ready for action

I noticed that most of the 2.9.x branches have pom.xml files that are 
pointing to this tag and not to the snapshot.  It appears like the maven 
release plugin step of:

[maven-release-plugin] prepare for next development iteration

Has not yet taken place.  Is there any estimate on when this will occur? 
  As one example:

https://source.sakaiproject.org/svn/announcement/branches/announcement-2.9.x/pom.xml

currently points to

     <parent>
         <groupId>org.sakaiproject</groupId>
         <artifactId>master</artifactId>
         <version>2.9.0-b01</version>
         <relativePath>../master</relativePath>
     </parent>

but it should point to "2.9-SNAPSHOT".
