Ck edit is available in 2.8. I think you have to explicitly enable it.

I have not heard of any issues with it - does anybody else know of oddities?

Forums:

We're developing an iPad app for the Forums Tool and are planning to enhance to tool to accept "plain text" postings and transform for display so URLs are actually displayed as hyperlinks - we'll also preserve the layout (I guess) by inserting <br>s. The side effect of this is that the interface in Sakai will also be plain text - this will be achieved by setting a property of the forum tool in a particular site to say "it's a plain text forum".

We should have this work done by the start of June.
