[Building Sakai] Tool for Academic Advising?

Hey Deigo,
Here is what our folks at UF are looking at generally :-
The Sign-up tool kind of answers the question but does not scale at the levels mentioned below for the requirements sought.

Looking for a Sakai based appointment scheduling system for academic advising and potentially other student services and activities. The system should be intuitive, easy to use, and allow students to schedule advising appointments with either individual advisors or large advising centers where they will be assisted by next available advisor.  There should be college/dept configurable options such as optionally restricting rescheduling of a missed advising appointment and requiring student to walk-in for next visit.

Since this would be a Sakai application, appointments should integrate into a Sakai based calendar that combines classes, advising appointments, and other university events into a single student view. It would also be great if appointments could sync with calendar applications, smart phones and etc. as well as send both confirmation and reminder notices to students about scheduled appointments via multiple channels, e-mail, text, social media.  Advisor appointments should sync with calendar applications like MS Outlook.

>From an admin perspective it would also be important for the system to capture and report key statistics.
