There is a QNA (Questions and Answers) contrib tool --I don't know if it restricts students from viewing other's postings until after they've posted their own views, but it is built for questions. I think it works similar to Piazza.com --I'd like to either use QNA or Piazza here after we've had a chance to check both out. Would be curious if anyone has a) used QNA a lot (not sure how actively it is being used) b) thought about a cle/piazza integration.

Bryan Holladay did the work on this. It's called "Post first" in MsgCntr:

Hi all,
Does anybody know if Sakai has a Question & Answer forum as Moodle does? I don’t think so. L
Q And A Forum - The Q & A forum requires students to post their perspectives before viewing other
students' postings. After the initial posting, students can view and respond to others' postings.
This feature allows equal initial posting opportunity among all students, thus encouraging
original and independent thinking.
Anybody is thinking on implementing this? Any clue to do it?
Thanks a lot in advance.
