[Building Sakai] SSL and Spring MVC tools in sakai (OSP matrix)

Hello,

For example, when I submit a form I expect this URL to end up in request

server/portal/tool/tool-id/reviewevaluation.spring?evaluationId=id
but instead I have
server/war-name/reviewevaluation.spring?evaluationId=id



In our configuration, Sakai runs in Tomcat using the HTTP connector proxied via mod_proxy through Apache. Apache handles the SSL and passes unencrypted requests to Tomcat.

In sakai.properties, force.url.secure=443 is set. Most links and tools work with these settings as expected.
We are using sakai 2.5.3.


Any ideas what can cause this?

As far as we noticed, somehow the URL of the tool ends up containing the app war name instead of the tool id, and from that point the filter of sakai will be confused.


Can you provide an example?
