The custom actions are typically not "CRUD" (i.e. supporting create, read, update AND delete) but normally just one aspect of that.

You should use EB and a provider but there is no reason you have to implement the RESTful capability. Just implement what you need.

Hello,

I am creating a user interface with AJAX and I want to call  some business logic that is not suitable for RESTful entity provider.
I can implement it using EntityCustomAction  annotation in a restful provider, but I don't feel is the right way to do is because is not a CRUDable operation.


Does anybody know how can I do this in sakai without RESTful provider? (some already supported way to do this in sakai, like providers for rest)
