[Building Sakai] Problem in wicket app from Sakai App Builder

I am having trouble with the build process in a wicket app I started in App Builder.  It was working fine as recently as yesterday, but today the build fails in impl with all tests failing due to a problem which seems to be in the hibernate config for the tests.  At the end of this message is a sample of the error messages that show up in the surefire-reports.  

The testing config is exactly as it came from App Builder.  I have revised tests to fit the app I'm building, and they were working fine last night. 

I have searched for info about similar problems, but haven't found any good advice yet.  I'm wondering if the problem is that a version of some of the spring testing support has changed since the App Builder was last updated.  Anybody know of a wicket app that builds fine with Sakai trunk that I could compare to mine for versions and such?  

Suggestions appreciated.
