[Building Sakai] Kernel versions and indie tools in 2.7.1

Hey dev list,

It looks like indie projects get their version of kernel, edu-services, 
common, etc. from purepoms. Does this mean that I could end up with 
different projects using different versions of kernel if I have two 
indie tools with different versions of purepoms as parent, or if my 
local master/pom.xml has a different version of kernel than the purepoms 
projects my indie tools point at?
