[Building Sakai] Problem with interaction between Sakai 2.8 & MySQL 5.5

Hi all,
In our database server, we use mysql 5.5 to run our applications, and now we
intend to use Sakai 2.8, the problem is Sakai 2.8 not work with mysql 5.5
(just work with 5.0/5.1).
What can I do to solve this problem?
