[Building Sakai] Site properties

Hi,

 

We use SiteService for adding a Site programatically and would like to add
properties to this Site. Adding the site works fine, but we don't have
properties. I have used "site.getProperties ().addProperty(String name,
String value);" and "site.getPropertiesEdit().addProperty(String name,
String value);", but still no properties

 

What am I doing wrong?
