[Building Sakai] problem facing while trying to run sakai-bin-2.5.0

The core API's between 2.5 and 2.8 should be compatible - so an app 
compiled against 2.5 should run on 2.8. To update an project to build 
against 2.6 and later will require updates to your poms as there have 
been packaging changes (the creation of the kernel for instance)
