[Building Sakai] Integrating ARES electronic reserve system into Sakai

Hi all,

I have been asked to investigate connecting our ARES electronic
reserves system (produced by Atlas Systems) into Sakai.  Has anyone
done something like this and if so can you point me to documentation
about the sort of data that the two systems need to share?
