[Building Sakai] default forums watch setting

Is it possible to set the default "watch" level on a site-by-site basis? 

I know one can say what the default setting should be throughout a Sakai installation, but we'd like to modify the settings on individual sites.

Can one set the property " mc.notificationDefault" on a given site so that it differs from the installation-wide default?
