[Building Sakai] CourseManagementService question

I'm currently in the middle of  mocking up a CourseManagementService 
implementation. Worksite setup seems to work fine except for the fact 
that the site title always ends up defaulting to the site uuid.

Where does the site title get picked up from? Has anybody else seen this 
happen? Any pointers appreciated.
