[Building Sakai] Email not sending to correct address

Hi all

 

We are encountering a problem with the sending of email from Sakai. In
certain sites, if a lecturer creates an announcment and sets it to send to
all participants, some of the emails are sent to the correct email address.
However, some emails are addressed to the site name, not the user's email
adress.

 

For example: 

Name                    Address
Notes

George                  <mailto:george at example.com> george at example.com
Correct

Sam                        <mailto:sam at example.com> sam at example.com
Correct

Fred                       AC-SkillsSA 2011
Incorrect!? 

 

Can anyone explain this behaviour to me?
