Just wanted to share this with everyone, If you use jps, jvisualvm, jstat, and other similar tools for monitoring you will notice they don't work with JDK6 u23. See the following java bug: http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=7009828 Good news it looks to be fixed in u25. Earle
