[Building Sakai] use Google Analystics

Steve,

It is true that the Google Analytics only provides information about what tools the users are using and we may just put it at our login page at the end.

At this fall semester, we start to pilot the siteStats tool at Yale. If everything goes well, we will open it up to entire school in the coming Spring.

The siteStats tool looks great and many thanks to you and your coworker's hard work.

Thanks,
Peter

It should indeed by non blocking.

However, if you put it in the footer, then you might not get true stats since activity within a tool will not be recorded as it is in an iframe and the footer is not repainted.

What about sitestats?

cheers,
Steve
