[Building Sakai] use Google Analystics

Hi All,

Does any school use the Google Analytics for its Sakai production Instances?  It gives us a lot of useful data and however, I am not sure about the performance issue due to introducing the Google JavaScript snippet on every page at the footer.  What will happen if Google data collecting server is down?  I know some of the high profile companies use it such as Twetter.com and mySpace.com.

Any comment?
