There is the site.helper! realm. You can add in that place that kind of
things for allow permissions that are not in older sites. I don’t know if it
will work with a new full role, but you can test it.

I don't think so there is any kind of platform compatibility issues using
web services. I am right now using Windows 7 OS, Apache Tomcat 5.5.28 and
Oracle 10g R2. Is it possible that you can provide me those web services if
they are not confidential so that i can escape redeployment of Sakai.

1) Yes, do some tests to confirm. With that kind of process i prefer to copy
the site, because it copies pages, tools and roles.
2) We use webservices to do that, we have processes that modify sites
massively.

Hi.... the created worksites doesn't be affected, only new sites that
inherits the same configured in the template.
