Hello Rusty,

Have you looked at http://confluence.sakaiproject.org/display/SEARCH/Home? You 
can set the following three settings in sakai.properties and restart Tomcat to 
enable search:

search.enable = true
localIndexBase at org.sakaiproject.search.api.JournalSettings=<local path for each 
Tomcat>
sharedJournalBase at org.sakaiproject.search.api.JournalSettings=<path accessible 
by all Tomcats>

Hello,
 
        Can anyone help me on how to setup search service and indexing in Sakai? 
I have two servers and want these two servers to share a common location to 
store indexes.
