Please circulate the following information about a terrific Analyst position at the University of Maryland, recently posted at jobs.umd.edu.
 
The Analyst position is within the Office of Information Technology (OIT), Software Development Services group. The Analyst will work on behalf of the technical team to capture, analyze, and document and verify requirements from end users and business stakeholders within the campus community. The Analyst will also develop test plans and procedures and test cases and execute those test cases against web-based applications to ensure high-quality solutions are developed. As a primary interface to the user community, the Analyst will respond to questions by working with the users and the technical team on suitable responses. While the Analyst will take direction from a project manager, the Analyst will also work independently with the end users to develop requirements, test plans and procedures and respond to questions.
 
Minimum qualifications include: bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; 5 or more years experience with requirements analysis and development and documentation using standard requirements analysis methods such as user interviews, card-sorting, etc.; 2 or more years experience with formal test methodologies and strategies.
