Faust,

There is initial work in doing this using IMS Learning Tools Interoperability that has been started. It will need a bit more work to be 100% production, but the good news is that once the work is done, these tools work in lots of other LMS Systems as well.

There is a demonstration of this integration at the IMS Learning Impact Meeting next week in Long Beach led by Oracle and Unicon (it plugs in IMS LIS as well).

Here are some code starter bits:

Basic LTI Portlet for Sakai 2.x - this can be added to Sakai 2.6 and will be in Sakai 2.7

https://source.sakaiproject.org/svn/basiclti/

MediaWIki code to support Basic LTI:

http://code.google.com/p/basiclti4mediawiki

WordPress MU Support for Basic LTI:

http://code.google.com/p/basiclti4wordpress/

These are early demonstrators - but the code is simple and quite straightforward and someone with a bit of time and understanding of MediaWiki could clean them up pretty easily - and I am a committer on both projects as getting fixes back into the code is pretty easy.

Let me know if you take a look at these and want to talk further.

/Chuck
