[Building Sakai] MIT and Sakai?

As a longtime Drupal community member, I am also interested to see Drupal on MIT's list, but at this point, I'd be evaluating Drupal 7 ;)
However, I think MIT would gain much from fully joining the Sakai community it helped launch, and the Sakai community would gain much from MIT's deep engagement with open education in general.
