[Building Sakai] How to understand and be able to modify some code in Assignment1 tool?

Thanks for your suggestion, Adam.
I gave it a try but tool Assignment2 can not be built and deployed under
Sakai 2.6.0 which we are using and don't intend to change.
As i know, Assignment2 use RSF to display.
Any help would be appreciated.
