[Building Sakai] SharePoint Sakai Web Part?

Hello Sakai Developers,

We are working at a Datatel AIS campus and are considering adopting the Datatel Active Campus Portal, a newer product that uses "Web Part" blocks as windows to other systems in its portal design over SharePoint.

I am wondering if anyone has built a web part over SharePoint that talks to Sakai (i.e. - via single-sign-on linkage and perhaps showing an abbreviated list of My Sites + a "My Workspace" link) or if anyone is even considering it. Perhaps a collaboration opportunity here?

Please let me know if you're aware or interested in such efforts.
