Stephen

My MaxPermSize is set to 512 but I got this error while compiling:

java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space

I have increased the VM's memory to 4096M and increased Xms and Xmx to 2048:

# set | grep JAVA
JAVA_HOME=/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun
JAVA_OPTS='-server -Xms2048m -XmxR2048 -XX:PermSize=128m
-XX:MaxPermSize=512m -XX:NewSize=192m -XX:MaxNewSize=384m -verbose:gc
-XX:+PrintGCDetails -XX:+PrintGCTimeStamps -Djava.awt.headless=true
-Dhttp.agent=Sakai -Dsakai.demo=true
-Dorg.apache.jasper.compiler.Parser.STRICT_QUOTE_ESCAPING=false
-Dsun.lang.ClassLoader.allowArraySyntax=true'

Must I increase MaxPermsize?
