Thanks for your thoughtful reply, we will check it out. Do you mean to say that Sakai 3 is built in a way that it's likely to remain compatible with the latest Windows release, like windows 7 (or by the time we adopt, maybe Windows 8), or just that the current iteration works well with current Windows and Mac OS versions when it comes to WebDAV but may need to release Sakai 3.1, 3.2 when those OS have a new release? I'm not sure if those situations are as distinct.

That is a good question Keli. I think you will find that the WebDAV support in Sakai 3 to be much improved, but I would recommend testing it for yourself. http://bit.ly/dhfLsd YMMV

It would be great if someone had some time to look at an integration of http://sourceforge.net/projects/alfresco/files/JLAN/ which would allow CIFS/SMB/NFS mounting directly. Best, L

Hello
Given the issues with WebDAV for Sakai 2.x, I was wondering if the same issues will occur with Sakai 3? If so, are there other ways to enable mass uploading of files by drag and drop, that doesn't rely on third party applications?
