[Building Sakai] Add Users

Sakai was designed with integration with enterprise systems in mind.
Many school automate the process of adding users and adding them to
the right worksites as part of their integration with their ERP or SIS
systems on campus.

When you try to run it as a "standalone" system, you can bump your
head against some design issues....like manually adding large lists of
classes and users to those sites.

One way to work with "what is" is to learn about Sakai's web services
that could script the occasional (or periodic) addition of users to
Sakai. The course management API's allow you to establish rosters for
courses that allows instructors to "pick" a roster and add it to their
site...eliminating the time consuming steps of manually adding users
by their user id.
