We did not remove the calendar service.
I am going to try the following:
Clear my tomcat and build the whole of sakai again.

If I am still stuck I will ask for your help.

I'd recommend post_2-5.

The quartz message is a red herring as YAFT does not use quartz at any point. YAFT does depend on the calendar service being setup in Spring though. Have you removed the calendar service?
