[Building Sakai] Sakai 2.5 and Deleting Content

It deletes the binary copy on the filesystem.

Hi All
Just a quick question about the content store in 2.5, assuming one is
using file-based content hosting.
Does deleting a file using the Resources tool actually delete the binary
copy on the file system, or is the content store effectively append-only
(i.e. just the record from CONTENT_RESOURCE in the db is removed)?
